Week 4 in Review

It's been another busy, and hopefully productive week, with a bit of a different pace than Week 3. This week, your objective has been to complete a project that employs some digital methodology, and then produce a webpage that conveys the results of your project.

Assignments.

Here's what you should make sure you've completed by the end of this week. Make sure you review each of these because some assignments have multiple components that you're responsible for. This week, I'm giving you until Sunday night to complete all this:

• Weekly Participation and Reflection Report
• Digital Methodology Module (blog posts + reflection video)
• Digital Methodology Project (webpage)

Daily Tasks

Day 1: Answering Questions and Solving Problems

• Choose a module and join the channel
• Begin learning some HTML with Codecademy and W3Schools

Day 2: Case Study in Digital Methodology

• Practice film visualization with Metropolis (1927)
• Practice text analysis with the transcript of Metropolis
• Keep progressing with your preferred HTML/CSS instructional website

Day 3: Building Your Web Design Environment

• Learn more HTML and CSS
• Start assembling and designing your webpage

Day 4: Getting it on the Web

• Keep learning some HTML and CSS
• Apply that knowledge to your project by implementing some common sense design
• Upload your webpage to your website
